“ This restaurant apparently exists only to feed morning shift workers at BGE and the jail. It's only open on weekdays, only during early hours. So how is it that they have the best meatloaf I've ever had? Their gravy is thick, smooth and consistent, with a tangy, savory flavor. Anything they put it on will be better as a result. Put their gravy on your life. ”
“ Fun little outing! Great hot dogs and cheap beer ! Check it out! ”

“ This place has been around since before i wad born and after 43yrs, I finally made it there. I was not disappointed. The meatloaf on a kaiser was amazing and the fries were perfectly cooked. I will be back again in the near future. Great overall experience!! ”
“ This was my first time going, I WILL be back! Their food is amazing. I wanted breakfast and lunch so I got a breakfast sandwich and French fries. Delicious! And Mrs. Maria and her staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcomed. The place is SUPER clean and overall a good atmosphere. Oh!! I almost forgot about the coffee. AMAZING! Mrs. Maria literally made it to perfection! ”
“ Best hotdogs in the city, hands down so good!!!! ”
“ Wow! This place still going? This was a regular stop for me to get an egg sandwich and coffee as I was on my way to work at the WMRR yard on Key Highway (Now the Maryland Cruise Center) and before that it was the go to place for the guys at Railway Express on Calvert St ( Now Merritt Clubs Downtown Athletic Club) in the 60's Both of those places are gone now and I no longer have to work as I enjoy my retirement in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California but I still remember the excellent service, the tasty food and the great tasting coffee that would warm me up in the winter on a cold 5 AM morning break at the frigid Railway Express platform. It's good to see that some of the small pleasures are still around and hopefully making fresh meatball sandwiches' instead of accumulating ground beef for their meatloaf sandwiches. That was their slogan and signage way back in the day. "Our meatloaf is made fresh not accumulated." I hope you enjoyed my walk down memory lane. ”
“ Excellent food, the sweet tea is the best. Really love everything.' I've tried great!! ”
